The session clarifies common misconceptions and highlights how early support can prevent crises. This presentation empowers the campus community to seek help for themselves or others with confidence and clarity.

Red Folder Training

This presentation prepares faculty and staff to recognize, respond to, and refer students who may be experiencing personal, academic, or emotional distress. Participants will receive their own Red Folder and learn how to identify warning signs, approach students with care, and navigate MCC’s referral pathways, including C.A.R.E., The Counseling Center, Title IX, and other campus resources. The training also clarifies Title IX reporting responsibilities and timelines, ensuring compliance while prioritizing student safety and support. By the end of the session, attendees will feel confident in their role as frontline partners in student care and campus well-being.
